introduction |
| This page is dedicated to Symposium and the music that they made. I have included information that I have found difficult to find as a fan, which I hope other fans will find very useful. |
Symposium were one of the best bands that has come out of Britain in recent years, and it came to me as a big surprise when they split up. They were around for about five years, released one mini-album and one full length album, were titled at one point the best live band in Britain, managed to dent the charts, and even incited a stage invasion on Top of The Pops! They really were one of my most favourite ever bands, and I was fortunate enough to have seen them live a few times before they split up. |
| Symposium's musical style was very distinct in all of their songs, even from their early pop-punky sound to their later heavy-hard edged approach. I believe I now have all of the songs that Symposium ever released, and I can truthfully say that I love them all. Although they didn't release much on the album front, most of their songs can be found as b-sides to their singles, and there are a heck of a lot of them! |

What are they up to now? Joe and Will - Were members in the band 'Hell Is For Heroes', who now on a hiatus Ross - Would have also been in Hell Is For Heroes, but circumstances at the time didn't allow. However, he was the singer for the now defunct U.K band 'Paper Cuts' Hagop - He is involved in music marketing - Get your Stage Wojtek - Is now doing his own music |
